Double Lumen EXTRA FLOW
short term
Productinformation
D-LINE catheters are designed for short term use during extracorporeal treatment, mainly in haemodialysis.
features & benefits
- Ultra-thin thermosensitive Polyurethane - High biocompatibility
- Available as standard (P = shore 60D) or as a "stiffness Teflon like" version (PH = 65D)
- Smooth non-thrombogenic surface - Patient comfort and minimal thrombosis formation
- Continuous lumen - Low resistance - The well known and accepted Double-D-design inside together with a new concept of a tip design guarantees excellent flow rates superior to other 11 F Double-Lumen catheters
- Colour-coded safety-clamps. Important information like priming volume and catheter length are printed on both sides of the clamps - Easy to identify also after insertion
- Swivelling suture ring - Extra small to avoid skin irritation
- New (protected) tip design without side holes - Enables laminar blood flow in and out with excellent flow rates if compared with standard 11 F catheters - Minimizes the risk of catheter thrombosis
- Straight and curved extensions. Also curved to one side
- Available as paediatric (6,5 and 8 F) and adult (11 F)
New future design for optimised flow rates
- The arterial inflow in a new design (like turbine vane) enables excellent flow rates. Even with low pressure. The design without side holes reduces flow turbulances and the risk of thrombosis.
- The D-shaped venous lumen ends in a round tip and provides the possibility to insert this catheter with the standard Seldinger technique.
- The Double-D-shape together with the new tip design and the ultrathin Polyurethane means that Joline is now able to present a 11 F catheter with flow results you normally achieve only with "bigger High-Flow-Catheters".
